Community Relations and Event Coordinator Internship

Job/Internship Description
The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for community relations and event coordinator internships for the 2021-2022 season. The internship will start in October 2021 and run through April 2022. Candidates must be able to work game nights and weekends throughout the entire season. Applicants should possess excellent people skills, be reliable, timely, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment and be eager to work in sports.As a participant in the Gamblers internship program, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Green Bay Gamblers organization. Previous interns have acquired full time employment with sports teams of all levels. Kansas City Chiefs - LA Dodgers - Waterloo Blackhawks - Green Bay Gamblers - Fargo Force - Milwaukee Bucks - South Carolina Stingrays - Detroit Red Wings - GMR Marketing - MKE Sports & Entertainment Intern characteristics desired: Possess excellent communication and writing skills. Offer superior customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the internet. Social media skills are a plus. Graphic Designs skills are also a plus Have the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. A positive and professional attitude will be expected at all times. Duties & Responsibilities: Work at least 90% of home games including any potential playoff games. (mostly weekends and holidays). Assist with any pre and post-game activities (Set up, tear down, giveaways etc.). Be able to work 10 to 20 office hours per week as needed. Help to promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations. Assist with community events including mascot appearances. Organize and execute a variety or game promotions. Be outgoing and friendly to all patrons. Other duties as assigned.
