Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Business Continuity, Governance & Controls, Sr. Manager to join our team. This position will report to the Global Director of Information Security, CISO. You will play a critical role in enforcing Modine's Governance practices and Global IT General Controls (ITGC) policies. Your oversight will be essential in ensuring global compliance with varying audit requirements, leading mitigation efforts and ensuring stakeholder alignment. You will be accountable for ensuring proper service roadmaps and controls are continually in place for systems in scope for audit activities. You will lead and implement governance frameworks and enforcement, ensure that IT's investments align with business goals and strategies and own the overall Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) accountability. This is a key role in the modernization of IT's ability to deliver upon it's commitments to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies and solutions
  • Conduct BCDR risk assessments and impact analyses to identify vulnerable areas
  • Ensure alignment of BCDR plans with organizational objectives and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with IT and business units to ensure effective implementation of BCDR plans
  • Manage and test BCDR plans to ensure they are current and effective
  • Ensure technical and process compliance with relevant regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and others
  • Coordinate with various departments to align IT initiatives with business strategies
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT governance
  • Lead IT governance-related projects and initiatives
  • Conduct periodic user access reviews for regular and privileged user accounts
  • Oversee the development of projects and ensure that team members carry out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards

Business Partnering

  • Provide periodic review of operations metrics to business leadership and all stakeholders
  • Facilitate coordination and execution of customer satisfaction reviews with business partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration
Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years managing IT operations or security operations teams in an ITIL environment for medium to large companies
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Broad understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies in order to understand the service delivery landscape and effectively communicate with technical teams
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals
  • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork and project management skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively with resources at all levels of the Modine organization
  • Be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and drive for results
  • Be able to think logically and independently and solve complex problems in their assigned area of responsibility
