Primary Job Functions:
Support lobbying team with legislative research projects, which can include backgrounders, landscape assessments, and preparatory and follow-up materials for senior leadership's Hill meetings. Develop materials to support legislative tracking across policy and advocacy.
Monitor hearings and markups as needed for lobbyists and draft write-ups that could be shared internally and with Plans.
Maintain relevant lobbying materials including talking points and background documents. Utilize Quorum software to track federal lobbyist engagements and issue areas.
Draft content for communications with Plan representatives, including CRC communications and legislative updates at other Plan workgroups.
Attend political events on behalf of BCBSA. Build and maintain relationships with Member offices as assigned.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
